Our standards
- Accuracy. Claims are checked against primary sources — peer-reviewed bariatric and endoscopic literature, ASMBS, ASGE, IFSO, NIH/NIDDK, FDA, and ADA/AACE for metabolic and diabetes-related content.
- Balance. ESG is presented as one of several options. We do not criticize medications, surgical procedures, or other providers.
- Plain language. Educational content is written at an accessible reading level; technical terms are explained on first use.
- No guaranteed outcomes. We never promise weight-loss amounts, resolution of comorbidities, or freedom from complications.
- No misleading transformations. Imagery and statistics reflect typical educational ranges and cite their sources.
